Advance notice: 2010 Roof of the World Rally

Are you in need of some real adventure next summer? The 2010 Roof of the World Rally promises 8,000 miles of car-wrecking deserts and mountains culminating in the truly awesome Pamir Highway, the most incredible piece of 'road' we have ever come across (and we have driven many roads in our time).  The 2009 Rally saw teams spending night in rivers, days in no-man's-land, reversing through the desert and crossing 4,700-metre passes through the Pamirs in Tajikistan, home to the tea bush.  In recognition, the 2009 ralliers took the great British cuppa back home, with the teams using tea to pay fines and bribes, entertain the locals and even in one case pay a hospital bill.  read more »

Charity Ralliers!

The Roof of the World Rally sees entrants attempting to take just about any vehicle imaginable on an awesome adventure to a country that most Who Wants to be a Millionaire contestants wouldn't be able to place!  read more »
